I have two welding=cutting torch sets , one was my grandfathers. but both have oxygen valves on the cutting end that won,t cut off completely. Have taken both valve stems apart and can,t see why the seats don,t seal. Question: How do I get them to seat? I took one of them several years ago to the welding store and they sent them to be refurbished but I think all they did was shine the brass because it still leaked. I know it would probably be cheaper to just buy a new set but I would like to continue using my grandfathers 70 year old Linde torch set.
