My little brother comforts himself by saying the Eden Air, Pure or whatever is "quieter"... Quiet is NOT an issue for me. There is a rail yard close, I have a scanner on, Ham Radios, and usually a TV, and I sleep with NO problem. When I go visit him, I can sleep because it"s TOO quiet... Living in Texas, I usually only use one or two of the upright quartz heaters, and keep it very comfortable in the main areas. In the shop, a diesel fired "salamander".
