Thanks for the dealer suggestions, I'll look them up. I've been watching places like HGR Surplus, and a couple of the Government surplus sites, in fact I got the mill off the NC State surplus site, and have seen only one listing so far. The problem with it was that there were like 100 tool holders they put them all in two lots, which wasn't bad. The thing is each lot consisted of say 10 of one size, 5 of another, 4 of another, etc. In other words you got multiple, multiple sizes of each holder instead of the whole group being broken into multiple complete sets. If you considered the set price they went cheap enough, but as a lot I wasn't going to pay that much to have 90 extra tools I didn't need and don't have time to sell myself. Guess that was basically the same thinking they used when putting the auction together. You might get $100 less for the big lots but save $200 in time messing not having to mess with 10 lots vs 2 lots.
As far as the CAT 40 vs NST 40, best I can tell comparing them side by side, they will both fit. The only difference I can see is the CAT 40 has a metric thread for the puller bar, and the NST 40 has a standard thread.
