My 266 XP works like a charm since: - adjustment of spark plug gap (.5 mm) - adjustment of flywheel/coil gap (.3 mm) For starting up, (right-handed), I put my left foot in the handle and my right foot carefully on top of the machine, (the top/lid with the bump is sturdy and can take it). In this position you can grab the starter-cord with both hands, which gives also plenty of momentum to start, if you, like me, are not of the the standard lumber-jack build.
