I've never tried using copper tubing for pressurized air, and wouldn't. But, the others say that it works. I can tell you this, if aren't buffed and sweated correctly, won't hold a much lower pressured water (like 60 PSI). Whatever anyone's using them for, solder has to be drawn (sucked) up into the joints, not just beaded up around the outside where is visible to the naked eye. If you didn't sweat them yourself, and/or they weren't sweated correctly, is no telling. I would imagine the type and wall thickness matter too. Personally, pressurized air? I use steel pipe. Mark
