I used to work for a Poulan supplier. You are right some small Huskies and Jonsereds are the same as Poulans. Same parent company Electrolux. And most still made in Shreveport. All these factory "remanufactured saw are a result of the Walmart and others no questions asked return policies. Poulin and others get bacl alot of saws. Might have been used for a small cleanup job and returned for full credit. poulan has to do something with them so they clean them up test em and resell them.
