I have a Jacobs that I bought from a golf course for $200. I use it with my Long 560 tractor to clear my yard of leaves in the late fall after all have fallen. It works great as I have a large yard and many trees. To be really effective with one pass, I have to run the tractor in 1st gear, low range at about 1200 RPM. No maintenance, just keep it greased. Have no idea what a new one cost.
