How time flies. At one time , I use to keep up on the chain saw market. Not any more. In my opinion , if I were John Deere , my name would not be on a homelite chain saw. Homelite was a good simple american saw. The last new homelite saw I bought was an XL-12. Would not hold a candle to previous homelites , even of same model. The paint even rubbed off easily , compared to the previous ones. That is when I switched brands. Yes , now that I think about it , that had to be 25 years ago. It seams like yesterday.
