I've never done an 8N, but have conducted some epic battles with pitman arms on other vehicles. It's amazing how they can hold on. In the past I've had to make my own custom-fit pullers out 2 pcs of bar stock, all-thread and a heavy jackscrew. There can be lots of time involved in doing this, but sometimes it's the only way. Only other advice I have is be patient. Heat that arm up.. use a good quality penetrant like Kroil or PB blaster and let the heat draw it in until cold. Repeat..repeat.. etc. May take awhile.
