Dad just bought the tank from them, but we are pretty sick of waiting on them. Every time you order it is 4 weeks or more until you get the part. I understand that they make a lot of the parts on demand, but I just want to get this thing running. :D Dad thought the tank would come complete with the fill and cap, but I guess you need to purchase it all separate. It made total sense that it didn't come complete when I looked at the price of just the fill. $48!?! I think we are going to use a pipe plug and a funnel for the first little bit until we find the part at a swap meet.
We were just talking about you today. Dad was wondering if we should call you for help firing up the engine. Who knows if we did everything right and we thought you might help us get the engine running. I'm not sure how good you are at trouble shooting these engines, but just about anybody has been around them more than Dad and I.
Dad is gone fishing all next week so there won't be much progress. I told him we should hurry up and finish so we could take it to Rock River Thresheree since they are featuring Economy this year.
