Hey guys. New to this site. I have a mid 50's allis chalmers wd45 that is mostly sound. I recently replaced my PTO gearbox and intermediate gear. Well in order to do that I had to come in thru the hydraulic reservoir. Hydraulics worked great before, but when I re installed everything they just can't lift crap and move EXTREMELY SLOW. From what I can tell everything is hooked up correct. The rear arms seem to always lift and can't even lift me. Loader can lift me very slowly. The only thing I can think of is that some of my valves (I think that's what is pictured) are in the wrong order?? reason I say is because when I got everything off I noticed 2 of them on the ground. One longer than this one and the one pictured. I realize now that I did not need to take that end of the pump off in order to remove the whole deal from the reservoir, but what's done is done. hope this makes sense. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! -Alex

Although he himself has never actually owned or restored a tractor, he was always enthusiastic and always around helping with other peoples projects.
