In the body of the cylinder are 6 cylinders where the seats belong. I went ahead and rebuilt the cylinder again with the seats removed and it worked temporarily. No guide pins, just balls in a cylinder about twice their diameter. The three point hitch lifted a 5' wide disk harrow with about 200# of block on top (400 to 500# total.) Tilled one area and it went great. Went to the next spot to til, turned the engine off for 5 minutes, started it up and there was hydraulic fluid spurting out between the cover and the body of the pump. Just pulled up to garage and am draining the fluid right now to pull the pump off again and take another look. I have the original manual and that's pretty good, but I've heard of a video on old Ford hydraulics, or the I&T manual. Are either of those more helpful than the original manual? Thanks for the advice.
