After looking over the archives on serial number tags it has left me with some question(s). How does the Si number on the tag, which is usually found in around the seat on a farmall, relate to the numbers found on the block, the prop shaft bell housing, and the rear end? Is there a co ordination between the numbers four sets of numbers?, or have I misunderstood what some one was talking about? My curiosity has the better of me in this issue. // I know in autos the numbering system is interlinked& placed in various places, that is why and how the chop artists who steel autos are caught.// I hope that some one can enlighten me, and demonstrate the interlinking on a made up set of serial numbers. Thank you Wm.
