The first thing I would check is the e-brake. Pull the rear drums and see if the shoes are touching all "around" the anchors at the top. If they aren't, your parking strut is tight which means your e-brake cable is sticking. If it's one side, it's that cable. If it's both sides it's either both cables or the front cable. If you have rear disc with caliper actuated parking brake, diagnose the same way. If your release releases, it doesn't mean the brakes release. Hope this helps. Gerard
