Getting a Farmall Super AV running. I cannot get tractor to freewheel in gear with the clutch pedal down. in...clutch "locked".
I have tied the clutch pedal down, and in 1st gear, pulling it just spins the engine. Even taken the freeplay out of the linkage to make sure I'm getting max clutch action. Can see TO bearing in one piece, everything seems to move on the clutch.
Hard to believe the end of the pilot in the crank is so hard and fast. Could be disk is stuck to flywheel, but WOW is it stuck.
Any other great ideas? Has anyone ever backed out pressure plate screws to free up disk? Does it make any safe sense to lock the engine somehow and pull harder?
