Hi:
I have had problems with my Oliver 88 misfiring with a couple small pops at about 150 feet then going away. It will run fine on my first hitch, but on my second hitch it will miss. On the third hitch it usually runs fine. The coil, distributor, and plug wires have been updated.
I looked at the nearly new spark plugs today and discovered they are Autolite 373s, which is what we were advised to use as it is a relatively cold plug. The Autolite site recommends using a 386, 3116, or 388. What are other people using for plugs? I don't know if this is my problem but I'm just trying to get a better idea of where to start. Thank you and have a happy New Year!

Although he himself has never actually owned or restored a tractor, he was always enthusiastic and always around helping with other peoples projects.
