Moving 250# 9 inches forward would be the same as putting 17# at 11' in front of the rear axle (assuming the standard 11' weight bracket rule). This also assumes that the seat and driver also moves the same 9" forward. If you are going to just angle the seat post and the seat/driver remains in the existing location you'll gain nothing. Mike
