off topic school shootings and firearms

The recent School shootings are terrible acts, representing the absolute worst human behavior imaginable.

Now that being said, here comes the predictable knee-jerk reaction...admonishing that all of us should get rid of our firearms. Well, its that liberal thinking that has caused these incidents,to begain with and I'll explain that in a moment.

The firearm that was used is not the issue. There are many ways of killing human beings, be it a firearm, poison gas, Baseball bat...or a hammer, an automobile, Shall I go on? So should we ban automobiles because someone got drunk, and killed someone with a car? Would this make us safer?

Things can be misused and harm caused as a result, It doesn’t make the device bad. Misused in the hands of a disturbed human can make virtually anything a lethal weapon. The proper use of firearms has given us the freedom to express our opinions. IT is also why we speak English, rather than German, Without firearms, most of us would not be here at all, because our grandparents would have been exterminated in a Nazi extermination camp, If Hitler had defeated the Allies in WWII.

But the real problem, is that Liberal policies have came home to roost, God is kicked out of the schools, And while the school officials were diligently watching, making sure God did not enter, A sicko slipped in and killed our children.

When I was in School, If we showed disrespect to our teachers, or didn’t do what was expected of us, We got our asses busted with the paddle. And it hurt,,,,and we didn’t want it again...We quickly learned that there was consequences to our actions, The liberals decided that paddling was just too barbaric and would scar us,,,,,,funny...I don’t feel traumatized One bit. The point was, that the rules in my day had teeth.....And the teachers made it very unpleasant to go against the rules. Thank God for those “old School” teachers.

Things that were accepted back then, were mostly tired and true things handed down from hundreds of years....things that worked. Like corporal punishment. Would set a rebellious kid back on the straight and narrow PDQ.......

But someone decided to tamper with the tested, and tried rules of raising children. And now it's the children raising us....or trying to. Teachers have no rights, and no way to put any real teeth into making them behave.

Oh Taylor, you're ideas are obsolete, and old say.

Damn right I am. But one thing I know for sure. The lack of respect, morality and manners that are shown by people of today’s society, Convinces me that there were some really important things missed in their rearing.

In my School days, We would sneak in Cigarettes, Beer, and sometimes would even beat the crap out of each other.....But we NEVER even dreamed of bringing Dads gun, (and most of us knew were it was and could have gotten it) And brought it to school, Killing our friends and teachers. We KNEW that was wrong, and it simply did not cross our mind. And our teachers would never let anyone harm matter what it took.

There were no School Shootings back then. Maybe there is something to that old school ways after all?

SO no liberals, You cant have my guns. Look what happened when your feel-good policies came into effect...just look at how this generation acts Disgraceful....They failed miserably, and people have died. And now, You honestly expect us to listen to you yet again? How many people have yet to die because of your “just do it if it feels good” policies? And what is yet to come? The unsaid inferrence is that "do this one thing, and we will have utopia" But Utopia never comes, but we are asked to give up just one more freedom.

Andrew Taylor
Sarcoxie Mo USA.......

...A country that came into being by the use of firearms and by people who would be considered “troublemakers” or even worse “terrorists” By today's standards.
