I too apologize...
I'm sure you're aware of the loss of bar when over inflated... and cupping if under inflated. And the type of track and tread bar design will play in the game as well. And bar height vs. wheel speed and ability to pack and so on...
So the only tid-bit of potentially useful information I can throw out there would be this... Start out a lot harder than you think you need to be. Always easier to drop pressure than to pump 'em up while you're at the pulls.
Are you running the pulling tires that look like a round ratchet rack like what Firestone offers up for pulling... or are you running ag tires? If they're the high wheel speed continuous tread deal then I'd look on the website of manufatcuter and see if they suggest any pressure. Or better yet call them and pick their brain.
If they're ag's and you're running lower speeds I'd say 3 is way too low for that big rubber. Even as stiff as they are on their own you'd still let the bars roll at just 3 psi. Slower speed... cut... big ag's... I'd start at 10-12... My humble opinion.
