don't get your panties in a wad ...I've worked on more 2 cyl. than you've ever seen...I have a 47 "GM" ,50 "G" & a 53 "G"...ALL G's came from the factory as fuel tractors ...the factory only built 5 gas "G's" & these were recalled after field testing...the 70 was in production by then & there was no need for the gas "G"....alot of dealers used dealer installed gas or LP kits to change them over....all info that I have given you on production came straight from Mother DEERE...if you know so much call them & maybe you can change their production figures....BTW with so many aftermarket heads out there that flow way better than the "G" or 70 head your prices are way out of line...5 years ago maybe not now...I drove my first "G" in 1958 when did you start?...take care ...Kent
