Hi Russ, There were two different persian oranges used by AC. The early version is a pumpkin shade of orange that was used to about 1959 or 1960. The later version has more red in it and was used afterwards. Here's a visual comparison of the two in PPG, as compared to an original belly mower belt guard for my '42B. The 60080 is the early one and the 60396 is the later one:
