I have used 3M's marine grade rubbing compound and their Finesse It II polish. It really does a nice job getting the oxidation off and making a nice shine. But, it takes some work and elbow grease, and is a 2 step process. The first step is taking off the oxidation with the rubbing compound and then cleaning all that off, and then the second step is bringing back the shine with the polish/glaze.
A dual action polisher can help if you have large areas. Otherwise it's gotta be by hand. Stay away from vinyl or mylar decals. It will eat them up.
If you are looking for a quick spray, WD-40 will make it look a little better. But, that isnt a long term solution to your problem, and will collect dust.
