Larry, I'm not sure about manuels. but to start,first off grease and lube. look for zerk on cluch yoke behind pulley, oil governor on top of engine near throttle, open up valve cover and lube valves and rocker arms. Make sure trans is in neutral, crank lubricator fifty to sixty times [top of engine]. put fresh gas in starting tank [Rumelys do not like old gas]. pump four strokes [one if warm] and open needle valve. close choke. Set flywheel brake [back side of flywheel]. Engage lever in flywheel keep your body away from lever as you pull down, lever should slip out of flywheel at bottom of travel. A few pulls and it should start. Gears are high down and to left, low down and to right, intermediate up and to left reverse up and to right. I have a X converted from a M. Philip
