It is very easy just follow the pattern. The lever next to the throttle is for a three speed, under free wheels,direct and over will not. You shift the main pattern with the clutch and the three speed without. I think it is 20% under, direct and 20% over with the three speed. Good tractors you will like it. Good luck Ron
