I have a question about the transmission in my dad's '38 Oliver 70 Row Crop narrow front. The problem is there's only 4 forward speeds and one reverse. It is supposed to have 6, right? We took the covers off today and found a spacer on one of the shifter shafts that the shift forks are mounted to. The upper left of both ranges is the ones affected by the spacer. There's one other gear that doesn't work also. Does the 70 have 2 reverses? And, does it have 2 5th gears like the 60 or a 5th and 6th? Did Oliver made a blockoff for the higher gears? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
