Does anyone have a 77 or 88 with add on power steering? I have a Row Crop 88 with a 77 motor in it with a Char-Lynn power steering unit on it. It is plumbed to get oil from the hydraulic unit on the tractor, I would like to add a separate pump for the power steering ( bought a used pump on e-bay for $20.50 plus shipping). If anyone has one, I would like some pictures of how it's mounted and the belt drive. Do I need a double pulley for the water pump, or can 1 belt drive the pump and the generator? Does a double pulley throw the large belt that drives the water pump out of alignment? Is the pump mounted on the same side as the generator. Looks like the air cleaner is in the way on the other side. It works like it is, but the steering is slow, it turns easy enough, but you can't really spin the wheel on a tight turn. Any thought or comments welcome. Thanks, Chris
