I am helping a friend fix his White 2-155 that lost all hydraulic power, so no power steering, PTO stopped working, and no hydraulic lift. Tractor will start and move in all gears. The hydraulic pump was removed and tested and it was OK, filters, screens, and lines look to be OK as well, fluid level was verified by draining, measuring, and refilling. The 2 exterior suction lines have a lot of bends in them but look to be ok. I talked to a shade tree mechanic and he said there is a pick up tube inside the transmission that has either cracked or fallen out of its correct location. Does this sound correct? What else should we be looking at? Thanks
