Yes, you are correct the proper term is "draft control" Sorry I have always referred to it as a self leveling control. I do have all the manuals for this unit and did read up on the relief valve section. I did verify that it is indeed turned all the way in clockwise (closed). I did not open it up for fear of messing up the loader hydraulics. I did note that I was unable to move the draft control linkage by hand that I found unhooked. I couldn't find anything in the service manual that showed the operation of this control.
