It sure does. I just might paint the one on the wife's like that. I wish I had a better memory. My uncle bought a 57 or 58 in 1960. I've got the manual here with the date in it and I know it was the "improved" Super because we had an earlier one at that time and his had the key start and fuel cap in the middle of the hood,ours didn't. Anyway.......it almost stands out in my mind that the grille strip on his was red. I just don't remember for sure that far back.
