We bought one new in 93.Best utility tractor we"ve ever owned.Turns sharper than a tricycle tractor.The three point hitch arms are far enough behind the tractor you can get it there and work with an implement hooked up.Draw bar was the best for pto operations.Did"nt have to always move it in and outOurs is a two wheel drive open station.We use it for baleing and auger workLove the tractor.Only thing ever done to it is a hydraulic line and a fuel bowl and thats in 2900 hours.Only thing that needs attention is it uses vw style fuses were the lead part is exposed .They corode and need cleaned once in a while.Tractor is also super easy on fuel.We also have a new holland the same size.I despise that tractor for everything i love about this one.If you can buy a 6085 right they"re good tractors.Just beware of how it was used before

Today's Featured Article - Oil Bath Air Filters - by Chris Pratt. Some of us grew up thinking that an air filter was a paper thing that allowed air to pass while trapping dirt particles of a particles of a certain size. What a surprise to open up your first old tractor's air filter case and find a can that appears to be filled with the scrap metal swept from around a machine shop metal lathe. To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
