I think it is working correctly; the hose gets hot. Although I have to say, I did not know there are block heaters that are not in the hose. All the ones I have are in the hose.
I need a new block heater for my 1755. Hopefully that does the job for starting in cold weather. I have a few other repairs to make before I am going to worry about the block heater.
With my AC loader, I probably needed to let it sit awhile longer to warm it up good. It had sat there for probably 3 weeks until I ran it that day.
