Hey Old weldor, I have mostly antique Deeres but grew up working with a 70, so I thought I'd try getting one. I paid $500 for a 70 here in CT. Spent a fair amount doing rings, tune up, wiring, generator, front wheels and tires and some sheet metal. Ended with over $2,500 in her. recently decided I really needed the money so I tried to sell the 70. I didn't get any bits at $2,500 and really no interest even at $2,000. I'd be careful about spending $950 on a tractor in that shape. Good Luck! John
