I am replacing the main and rod bearings due to the previous owner operating the tractor with the lift pump leaking diesel into the crankcase. I had an oil analysis done which indicated excessive diesel fuel and bearing material in the oil. After replacing the lift pump, the oil stayed clean, but the pressure was too low. Oil pressure would initially be at about 40 psi in cold weather, but would decrease to only 5-7 psi at 1500 rpm with the engine hot. The relief spring in the pump measures shorter than the spec, I am trying to find a new one. I already replaced the main oil pressure relief spring on the front of the block. The gears in the pump have only .004 clearance to the body.
