If indeed your tractor has 890 as the last three digits in the serial number, "8" means it is in the 1800 family and "90" is the power train code indicating the gear combination. "90" is the gear combination for industrial tractors. This combinatiuon has higher travel speeds. &bnsp;With 18.4x34" tires it should do 18+ MPH at high idle. Your tractor was produced with a non pressure lubricated transmission. There was a product improvement package to install the pressure lubrication system. If your tractor has the lube package it will have a filter on a bracket bolted to the under side of the LH platform, factory lube transissions had the filter screwed into the side of the trans housing.
