think i found the problem or what could be the problem. opened the drain plugs and nothing came out. Put the heater to it this morning. Got a qt. of water out of the transmission. About another qt. of water out of the diff. and about 2 cup of water out of the PTO. Took the heat off and will let the water settle to the bottom. I'll heat it up again tomorrow and drain again. That should fix it ? I'll let you know tomorrow. Thanks for all the responses and help from all. If it got to -40, and it does here every winter ( normal ) i'm sure the case would bust open if it wasn't drained. Thanks again for the response. greg
