That really was my gut feeling, and even with new tires, I just couldn't imagine shelling out that much for a gas. I love my 1600 too, but it's hard to justify running it much when our Massey 285 will do the same job with less fuel, and Dad can get on it easier too.
I'm really partial to the 1855. Looking forward to getting back to the farm to plow when the manure is hauled. Been off the seat for about a month now... But other projects and family duties have me off the seat. I'll get one last hurrah before the snow flies though. I told her if it were a deisel, it'd probably bring $4000 all day long.
