Having problems with the 880 I just restored for the neighbor, you can open the throttle up slowly but cannot rip it open without it coughing and dying. Our local Oliver mechanic said I probly lost the brass thrust bushing that goes between the gov and block when I took the gov off to replace gaskets but when I pulled it apart now there are two bushings in there and the weights are hitting on the cover when they fly wide open. I need to replace the weights but wondering if this will solve my problem or if there is more I am missing??
