Well, we pulled apart the 2n yesterday and found a chiped tooth in the sherman step-up drive and some bearings with spawling on them in it and the transmission. I have on order a bearing and seal kit for the transmission. My question is, it looks like some of the bearings have to be pressed on and off the shafts?? Is this correct and is it every bearing? The other question is, this tractor did sit for a while and I am finding some corrosion on about a 3 inch span of the 2nd and 3rd speed gears. It does not look terrable so will this smooth out or can I buy new gears? It seems like bearings and seals are no problem to find, but internal gears are a different story.
