Has new plugs, 12v coil, EI ingnition, Plug wire, new wiring harness.
Tractor starts cold without choke. Idles great. Ran for 1/2 hour adjusted carb. sounded decent. Drove 100' died, immediately checked bowl on carb, gas came out for 8-9 until bowl empty with valve closed. A little rough getting started. This morning hit key started instantly. This is what I've done so far.
Checked gas holes clear and ran with and without gas gap, no difference.
Battery tested at A-zone, 100%.
Filter under tank pulled, zero debris
Filter in carb, zero debris
Gas from tank with valve open completly drain tank. New gas.
Spark test on each plug while running, had flash but not real bright, checked voltage on input side of resistor from ignition switch while running, 12.85 volts. On output side of resistor 9.5 to 10.05. Pulled each plug wire while running all cylinders firing, still ran on 3 cylinders. I mowed this for 3.5 hrs last week ran great.
Could this be a sticking float or may just need a carb rebuilt? Or whats the next test to preform.
