I took out the funky old votlage regulator this evening, it had been hacked out of the circuit and left with its wires hanging there. that opens up a little more room
the oil gauge pressure line is kinda in the way, as is the throttle mech, but I might be able to work around those. its gotta be vertical, and I have to have room to work the clamps so I can change the oil (is 30W and/or 20W50 ok to use in these? i haven't had a vehicle with an oil bath air cleaner in a long long time)
this crossbrace thats in the way is made from two C channel beams that are fitted together and welded into a box, about 2x4", across the top of the transmission right behind the engine flange. it sticks out directly under the two horizontal pipes of the front loader, which are double-ubolted to it.
