Agree with everyone else here... get a 5 footer and forget the buried 4'. It could be as bad or worse than you can imagine. I got a 5' Bush Hog with my 9N when I bought it about 20 yrs. ago, sight unseen.... it leaked oil from the gear box like no ones business, blades were severely worn, it was missing the section of the pto shaft that connected to the tractor, the tail wheel was trashed and had to be replaced and it was so heavy the front end barely stayed on the ground. All in all even being 5' it wasn't worth messing with. When I moved I stripped off anything that was decent on it (the tail wheel and the pto shaft) and left it in the woods and bought a King Kutter. I'm much happier with it.
