He checked at the local O"Reilly"s(10-12 miles from where he lives) and they had no clue.. He finally did what I told him to do and got the 1/8 npt brass plug at Auto Zone.. I had told him a week ago to just go to the hdwe store..Anyway, I think he went to at least 5 places before anyone had a clue what to do for him even though he had the old one in his hand..Thanks for everyone"s help..One stop was at a place that sells some parts for the Ns..They likely had it but they have never been known for their great service..Several yrs ago I went there and he really wasn"t interested in looking for the N valve guide seals I needed but he did since I had the old one in my hand and he could go to the bin and match it without having to put any effort into having to look it up in a parts catalog... I have bought very few things from this place-I try to stay away. They really don"t care if you come in the door or not unless you are looking for a tractor or zero turn mower or some other big ticket item..Another place he went was suppose to be a place that specializes in fasteners and they were blown away, had no clue..Moral of the story-don"t go to Brookhaven or McComb, MS if you need a nut or bolt.

To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
