My first Ford was a 2N that was given to me by my father. He "restored" it about 5 years before he passed away. Used Rustoleum and a brush. It looked good at first but faded Very quickly so that by the time I got it it was pink. I have no problem with brush painting one but I would do it with a better paint and use a hardener. Mix your paint/hardnener in small batches so you can use it up within the stated "use" time.
