techie........would you believe ALL the weight and forces are concentrated on the FRONT casting of the genny. NO NEED to support the back end of the 2N 6-volt genny.
Just remember to "polarize" the 2-terminal roundcan cut-off at the front of the steering column under the battery tray. Just "arc-spark" the 2-terminals together, engine OFF. I use a pair of pliers handles, but you can use bailin'warr iff'n you want. You can "re-polarize" as many times as it takes to feel warm'n'fuzzy ...er... charged.
HOWSOMEVERS: remember YOU are the voltage regulator to the 1-terminal 3rd-brush on the END casting of 11-amp 2N-genny. Adjust the 3rd brush for about 3-4 amps charge (+) on the dash panel ammeter at about 1/3-throttle. Yeah, that means some walkin'round stuff. Normally, ya don't haffta do nuttin after the original 3rd-brush setting ...unless... you have dealer installed OPTIONAL headlites. It should be intuitively obvious that when you turn yer headlites ON, ya better re-adjust the 3rd-brush for more charge ...or... yer gonna KILL yer battery. ...and... conversely re-adjust yer 3rd-brush when you turn yer headlites OFF ...or... you will BOIL the acid out and warp the lead plated and haffta buy a NEW BATTERY.
Unfortunately, all this is automatic in yer 12V Belchfire-V8 and all you ever see is the idiot lite on the dash iff'n sumptin' is wrong. ........electrical Dell

What about the hum of your refrigerator? Or the thump of your clothes dryer? Maybe the engine of your car? You hear those sounds every day, and you don't think much about them, do you. I can think of a few common, ordinary sounds in my daily life, too.
