With out seeing it all I can tell ya is to make sure you do not have a bent shift fork,,, how to tell is to place it in neutral and make sure all the gates in the shift rails line dead nuts up,,, all the shift collars are dead nuts in the middle on the shafts... John Smith has good info on this and his advice would be good as gold...
This is about hanging up in 2 gears its basic info that should be looked at on any trans repair as bent worn parts are hard to see unless you have good parts to compair the shift forks to even then its difficult to see ...
