Ok I will post pics when she is all done. The snow blower is a 1971 Montgomery Wards Brand 26" wide with an 8 HP Briggs and Stratton. It was built for MW by Gilson. These things are beasts! Very well built! Thick gage metal everywhere. No plastic! The auger gearbox is the same unit they used on their Rototillers. Very Stout! I am replacing all bushings and bearings while I am at it. The bucket had two small rust spots that have been cut out and welded up. Nothing major. Now for the modifications. I have converted it to Electronic ignition and done away with the points. I have added a 12 Volt starter. I am using an ARMY ammunitions box as the battery box. It will be mounted under the fuel tank. It will house a Jetski battery. I have added a 3A alternator to it. I am using an Army Match Box as a box to keep extra shear pins. I will be adding military stars and stenciling here and there. I am also adding a 27W LED Flood light above the motor mounted to the head. It will have the following stenciled on it. Maj. Payne N. Diaz :) I am considering of Replacing the 1,2,3 and R on the traction control with "Hut, March, Double Time and Retreat" :)
