Yes, it's a Military engine. The block looks to be the same as my old engine. I'll need to use my old Bell Housing since the starter is to low on this one. So I'll have to move the oil canister or use the one off my old engine which is the screw on type filter. All the same ports are there as on my old engine. Has a lifting eye on the head for lifting it. I can use any thing that was on my old engine on this block from what I can tell. So I don't see where I would run into problems. You are the second one to say they will be internally different. The other guy didn't reply when asked how. What would the be? Crank turned to different dementions, Rods heaver duty. Different cam? or what. I can't see how this engine will be any different than the one that was in it other than a little larger bore size.
