Putting new gas into old gas is a sure way to turn the good gas to bad. I would drain and flush the entire fuel sys. I would disassemble the carb and clean it.Doing anything LESS will just snowball your problem. Gas today can and will turn on you in about 90 days. I had some with the so called magical potion sta-bil in it and it went bad. No short cuts here if infact you had bad gas to start with, Gas goes bad because the propane molecules have dissipated, Good Luck
