Forum Members, I need to know the length and width of a replacement belt on a 2N Ford tractor. Everything is original- 6 volt and all. Had an interesting thing happen to my 6 volt generator while buzz-sawing firewood in northern Minnesota yesterday. I noticed the ammeter not showing a charge. Tried to motor it and all it would do is growl slightly. Removed it from the tractor and shook it.It rattled? Took it apart and found that two posts holding a brush and spring tension mechanism had come out. Tapped them back in and it worked like a charm. Anyone ever have this happen to them? All thoughts welcome! Mr. T. Minnesota
