I just did this about a year ago and didn"t have any problems during reassembly. Once I got it all together though, it sat all winter because we didn"t have any snow and when I began using it in the spring, it screeched really loud any time the axle pivoted, (loud enough, it could be heard across our 10 acres in the house) and it didn't matter how small the pebble was. I was just going to wait it out until it wore itself in, but couldn"t handle it any more so I pulled the kingpin out and drilled two holes opposite of each other, tapped them and put a 90 degree grease zerk in each on, so that I could grease it via the hand crank opening. Worked like a charm! The only thing special I had to do was file off most of the head of the grease zerk so they would slide past each other to get the second one started.
